Rules and regulation:

  1. Theme :- Coexist

  2. Must be photograph of a living trees (any parts) within proximity of man made development (Buildings, statues, roads etc)

 

  1. Full information of the photograph must be included:

    1. Photo title and description

    2. Geographical coordinates

 

  1. All contestants must provide the following information along with the photograph:

  1. Full name

  2. NRIC

  3. Personal contact number

  4. Emergency contact (name and contact number)

  5. Email address

  6. Address

  1. Photograph location must be at Penang only (Island & Mainland). All award-winning photographs from other photography contests will not be accepted. Entries will be disqualified if caught.

  2. Participation is open to everyone

  3. Photographs captured from cameras or mobile phones are acceptable.

  4. Each contestant is limited to ONE (1) entry only.

  5. All contestants must submit the contest form and the images(s) in (5R) (5” x 7” or 127mm x 178 mm) size printed on any photographic paper via registered post or by hand to:

Penang Green Council (PGC Strategies Sdn Bhd) Tingkat 46, KOMTAR,

10503 Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.

 

  1. Contestants are required to submit the images(s) in jpeg format and have to be of a file of at 3 megabytes (MB), with a resolution of at least 300 dpi, a minimum size of 3600 x 2600 pixels, landscape or portrait, and in colour. The original copy (soft copy) of the image(s) must be submitted either by hand (storage devices, i.e. thumb drive, SD card) or email to pgc.medias@gmail.com.

  2. Incomplete or illegible contest form will be disqualified

  3. No digital super imposition is allowed. Composite photographs or any form of digital manipulations will not be accepted. Only minor image touch-ups such as cropping, adjustment of brightness and colours as well as softening or sharpening of the image are allowed.

  4. Only single framed photos are allowed

  5. The photograph must be submitted before 14th June 2019, 12pm

  6. The photographs will be uploaded in our Penang International Green Convention and Exhibition 2019 Facebook page starting on 2nd July 2019 till 30th July 2019 for online voting session.

  7. All the photographs will be filtered before being uploaded in our Facebook page.

  8. The winners of the photographs will be judged by Juries (100%).

  9. Penang Green Council is not responsible for any accidents / injuries, damages and or loss of item during the course of photographing.

  10. With the entry submissions, the contestants hereby agree to all contest terms and conditions and to identify Penang Green Council and the co-organisers from any legal claims or otherwise.

  11. All photographs submission is non-returnable and shall remain the sale property of organisers and sponsors reserves all right to use/ publish/ reproduce/ exhibit the submissions in any form of media or medium whether locally or internationally, without any prior notification or payment made to the participants.

  12. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify and dispute arises out of or in connection with the terms and conditions above; and/or any entry not following or abiding by the terms and conditions above.

  13. Winners will be notified by email or phone call.

  14. All winners will be invited to a prize giving ceremony Penang International Green Convention and Exhibition 2019 on 28th September 2019. PGC will not bear any form of cost incurred by contestants during the ceremony.

  15.  All qualified submissions will be exhibited at the Penang International Green Convention and Exhibition 2019.

  16. Penang Green Council reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the contest for any reason without prior notice to contestant(s). Any form of decision taken by PGC is final.

  17. Any final decision is subject to the appointed chief judge’s approval,  PGC will not hold accountable for the decisions made
